Coder of the Month - November 2009

The staff's pick for the Coder of the Month for November, 2009, Dan, better known as KcDan. Dan has been a member of this forum for just a few months shy of 6 years. We have literally watched this programmer emerge from a newbie with an insatiable curiosity for coding to a proficient, generous coder, willing to answer many questions and also to share all that he has learned over the years.
Here are just a few examples of Dan's contributions to the Liberty BASIC community.
Liberty BASIC Newsletters Side Scrolling Demo - a Mario type platform game.
Using GDI+ to load alternate image types with Windows DLLs. Loading many image formats without an add-on DLL
A very clever program in the recent challenge. Jack-o'-lantern Challenge, 2009
KcSe.dll, used for game programming. KcDan's Game
Innovations with OpenGL Forum OpenGL Library Discussion (Unfortunately Dan's website www.kcdan.com appears to be down at the moment.)
Dan continues to answer questions and share code. He can be found most often on the API board and the Game board.
Congratulations, Dan!

Congratulations Dan! As tenochtitlanuk said, it's very well deserved!
I still like the side-scrolling demo, it must be a classic by now.
