Close, but not right.

Check the date I wrote the message and then add 7 or 8 days...

P.S.
I agree with Alyce that humor in an internatianal forum is always tricky. But Vicks vapor rub is an international brand, even in a small country like the Netherlands it is sold under the same name. And the date I refer to is international too!

LOL
Locally (at our academy) we celebrate is as "Junior Scientist Day". Because supposedly only such kind of person is going to pursue career in a science %)

(btw I googled for Viks but really it did not sound funny for me. I'm sure I have something like this in my medical box.)

It would be good to stay on topic and avoid subjects like Vapo-Rub and Duke Nukem, which simply confuse the issue, particularly in a community that spans all age groups and nationalities. wink

What about *****? Is that off topic too? wink

Ok, shutting up now.

This discussion has gone way off the intended path and is not suitable for this forum.

Please remember to remain on-topic while posting.

It seems people may not have been familiar with the product I mentioned in the above quote. It is a product that competes with Vicks Vapor Rub. It also seems I may have misspelled the product's name further leading to the wrong impression of my joking intention. The product's name is spelled "Bengey" and not how I had spelled it.

Sorry for the confusion and misspelling there.

It would have been nice to ask me about my post first instead of busing my chops about it publicly with your warning of being banned. You know what they say about assuming?

Since this forum is international, not every joke is recognized as such around the world.
I am not against fun and humor, but there should be limits, since this is a development language discussion forum at first.

I think members are eager to test LB5, but some seem to be inpatient, so such humor arises.

Hopefully the release of LB5-beta will bring us back to the point of this forum.

If you feel offended, I apologize, since it is not my intention.
I am from Austria, so we do have a different sense of humor, not as black as the British one, but surely different enough for the rest of the world.

Lets go back to coding issues.

I received several complaints, both from members and staff. You did not read the responses to your joke, which were totally unacceptable.

I apologize.

Please, everybody, stay on topic.

I'm so excited about the great news about LB ver.5.0! Also to say that some people do get excited to say unkind language, as the staff of this board actually say 'PLEASE KEEP THIS BOARD CLEAN & FAMILY ORIENTED' I personally can't stress this enough! I don't talk that way ever! So how's the progress coming with LB5 testing? Just curious though?

I understand your eagerness. But this forum exists to support the current release of Liberty BASIC and none of the supporters of this forum are in a position to answer your question.

Some are involved in Liberty BASIC v5.0 alpha testing, Carl has stated that has started but the participants will not be in a position to disclose or discuss progress.

So sorry, your asking in the wrong place.

Have you read about anything?

If Carl doesn't post about LB5, there is nothing to say about it.

Did you read the post just prior to your own? No idea what Taz means but if it means instil patience then consider yourself Tazed.

There is a very robust Alpha but Carl is having to deal with 4.50 and as Windows moves on apace this gets ever more complex.

Not to worry, I am enjoying Liberty in it's current guise.
