Dear Carl and friends working on LB5,
is there any news on the release date? I am moving to OSX, and I am deciding whether to abandon all my software in LB (hopefully not.....) or keeping hard and wait for the new creature.

Greetings from Lake Como

Kinda strange question, if the release was imminent would we be hiding it from you?

I bet Picasso didn't announce his paintings till they were ready.

Why? because they were complex and difficult and required much tweaking to get them to the point he was happy to release them for public scrutiny.

Until it is here do what you have to do but stop heaping pressure on Carl, (one man) to deliver.

Rod: you didn't have to jump down the guy's throat for what was actually a nicely and gently worded fair question. I think we'd all like a little whisper of information. And where did the guy suggest you were hiding anything? And how can a simple question about a promised product be pressure when we haven't heard anything in months, and no one has even asked in months as well?

Well the progress question has been asked time and again. Anyone who follows the whole debacle will understand that this is a slow gestation. So we can choose to pressure Carl or understand how the process works.

I apologise to Carlo, he rightly expects progress. You are right to take me to task. Perhaps it is my own concerns about progress that drive my techy response.

Dear Rod :
I apologize, it was not my intention accusing anybody to hide something to me or putting pressure to Carl. Probably my English is not good enough....
To be sincere, I actually need LB5, and on that I'll have to make some decisions in my present academic career. I know what efforts are required in software quality and that I can do little for its development, if not assuring you that I'll buy as soon as it will be available.

Yours Carlo

Hello,

I am curious as to the progress, I am waiting to purchase LB5.

I know there may be no news, but I had to ask anyway.

I hoped to have a "present" for Christmas....., but, anyway, my best wishes to everybody!
