xx Button Font exclusions - what's going on?
« Thread started on: Aug 29th, 2016, 11:35am »

Wondering why LB won't use some fonts in my button text; it substitutes by some illogical protocol.

For example, try and set up a standard LB button in a window, and set the font to the Symbol font, which most Windows systems already have. It'll work fine, right?

Now try it with the Wingdings font. It gets substituted for something else.
After experimentation, it has nothing to do with the size of the font or the actual file name.

Why? And how can i force LB to use the font i want without resorting to a bitmap button? huh
