OK, we have the expensive Arduino chips here, how about the Cheaper Pic Chips? anyone got a usb i/o circuit and programming for them?

An arduino nano can be purchased for about 3$ or cheaper on ebay, banggood or aliexpress.

They have a built in USB to serial converter, voltage regulator and plenty of I/O. This seems like a real bargain to me. No need to invest in a special pic programmer or any other problematic things.
