Hi Janet, I downloaded it but have not looked at it yet.
My question is: Since LBPE has very limited membership, would it be of use to me? Thanks for your help.

The basic wikispace at
http://basic.wikispaces.com/
is open to membership for all. Until yesterday, if you wanted to submit an article to the LBPE, you joined the basic space and submitted your article there, so yes, the offline editor would have been very useful.

The LBPE is now a public space. You do not need to be a member of the space (or of wikispaces) to submit articles. Anybody can submit articles. You can submit them by composing them online, or you can use Dennis's offline editor to create them on your own computer, then copy and paste into your online article.

To submit articles, visit this page:
http://lbpe.wikispaces.com/Submit
