Stefan has written a series of 10 tutorials on streamlining your code. He says, "The tutorial is aimed to show you how you can streamline your code by restructuring it and consolidating redundant code into multi-purpose blocks."

Thanks Alyce for mentioning it.

It has taken a year to find the time to convert a series of posts to the Yahoo! group into a basic tutorial, so there is still space for improvement.
