Brent Thorn's forum is a great resource for Winsock programming. The Winsock board has this description, "Sockets programming for Windows to develop clients and servers generally involving the use of WMLiberty."

It currently contains these posts:

DEMO- RAS/WinInet Exercise
WIP - Telnet client
DEMO - Post form URL-encoded

WMLiberty is Brent's FREE DLL for subclassing windows.

Is there any way to do socket programming in Liberty Basic? I would like to make a chat server and client. My friend Rik made on in C++, but I'm new to programming, and I do not know C++. Sorry for the necropost, but I see no point in starting a new thread.

Perhaps you will see the point in reading the first post in this thread...
