I-Browser / Portable LB Browser Question

I use a statistical programming language to do analysis of stock market data. Please see the link below for information about the language. http://www.r-project.org The application Shiny will allow the R code to run on a browser.(I think its just a Java Script front end for R) See here.http://shiny.rstudio.com There is a app available to down load that will allow the R code to run as a standalone application. See this link. http://www.thertrader.com Scroll down until you get to A Simple Shiny App for Monitoring Trading Strategies – Part II and then down to 1 – How to install & run the app on your computer. The link to download the app is here. https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B4vPG49PnF0-Q1NWc2NKYkpQMkE&usp=drive_web The application uses Portable Google Chrome browser to display the Shiny application. I want to basically use a LB browser like I-Browse by Alyce's Restaurant. http://alycesrestaurant.com/Internet.htm The reason is I can add some custom controls to the browser and add other features easily. Inside the downloaded folder you will find a file runShinyApp.R .If you open the file runShinyApp.R you can see the code that opens Google Chrome(about six or seven lines down). The file can be open and modified with a simple text editor. I have downloded I-Browser and set it up as a single .exe file and it works. I have changed the file path in the runShinyApp.R file to open the I-Browser and it works. The problem is the shiny app doesn't open in the browser window but the browser opens but doesn't open the correct IP(I think). I don't why. I'm lost past this point.
