xx Reporting and discussing potential bugs.
« Thread started on: Oct 4th, 2010, 10:25am »

We have created a wiki to hold a list of confirmed bugs in the current release of Liberty BASIC. You can find it here:

http://libertybasicbugs.wikispaces.com/

Feel free to create new pages to report bugs. You may also modify (edit) existing pages that document bugs.

You do not need to be a member of wikispaces to particpate. If you are a member of wikispaces, feel free to join the "Liberty BASIC Bug Tracker" wiki. An organizer will quickly approve your membership.

Some things to consider:

A wiki is a great place to document information because it can be modified easily, as needed.

A message board is not a great place to gather a list of active bugs because it contains many threads and many pages. Important bug reports get lost amidst the debates, misunderstandings, discussions, code and workarounds.

A wiki is not a great place to hold discussions. Each page has a discussion tab that allows people to post and respond to messages, but it is an awkward way to hold a conversation or debate.

This forum is a great place to hold discussions.

In short, please continue to report and discuss potential bugs here on the forum. Any lengthy debate or discussion of bugs is better managed here, since many more members of the community gather here.

Dear Alyce,

Is it a new hobby, to create and collects a new bugs reports?
Well, what for is that?
TIMER till now has six reports:

1-Timer and Prompt conflict.
2-TIMER-sub as event handler.
3-Branch Labels.
4-Events.
5-Execution can 'fall through' a WAIT.
6-Pie and Piefilled drawing distorted.

The only replay I expected is an answer for one question. Are these bugs going to be fixed by Carl or not?

Thank you Alyce.

Sorry to say this, but the answer is No. Carl is now wasting time on Tiny Basic instead of working on LB4 and LB5. sad angry

There is so much more going on behind the scenes than you know. I have spent a LOT more time on Liberty BASIC in recent weeks than I have on Tiny BASIC, believe me. In fact I have worked on the timer related bugs recently, and in another post I even described my efforts about that.
