Since the runtime engine for LB 4.03 and 4.04 was built with Windows XP in mind, it has no native compatibility for the Vista / 7 UAC. This means you have to create yourself a manifest file and add it as a resource into the runtime engine.

I'm aware that the way programs will be executed has changed on LB 5.0 but is there any consideration about this subject?

There is little documentation yet and I do not find any discussion of this exact topic on the testing forum. Testing is on a brief hiatus as Carl must turn his attention to other matters. I think it is safe to assume that compatibility with recent versions of Windows will be better than in the current public LB release.

Ok, no problem. I will wait till there is more information about the LB 5.0 runtime operation.
