« Thread started on: Sep 28th, 2017, 07:04am »

I get my data from a pdf. I enter to my program by hand.

Is there a way to use the pdf to directly populate my input data??
is there a way to do this without using random access or sequence file.

can the pdf be turned into a picture and maybe go that route maybe?
Maybe use html to make a web page that would populate ??

if I need to maybe use excel?? how would that work ?
I don't need to be able to update. As all the data from the pdf is already updated.

ADVICE please, been to this point way too long

I tried this and got it in a format that Liberty can read but there are some caveats.

I created a pdf with this format

27
47
32

Then I copied all the data and pasted it into excel. Then I saved it in a Unicode Text (.txt) file which is readable in Liberty. Maybe this will get you on the right track.

Using the mouse, I have copied and pasted .pdf text to notepad & other text apps.

There are many converters online that will convert your pdf file to Microsoft Word or text. However, I suggest using Calibre which converts files to different formats, including pdf to text. That should solve debluzz's problem.
