The next installment for your testing pleasure.

Liberty BASIC v4.5.1 beta 3 release notes
----------------------------------------------------------------------

-Added a conversion of ASCII 160 to ASCII 32 when the Filter bad
characters option is turned on, in order to permit pasting of code
from some web sites.

-Added a new function codeide$() which returns the code in the
Liberty BASIC editor window. This is useful for creating utilities
such as code formatters or parsers that can be installed as external
programs under the Setup menu.

Oops. The new function is called idecode$(), not codeide$(). My bad.

From time to time, not always, when launching LB I get an Os Error 16r12 "no more files" or something like that (I have it in Spanish). This is related to the recent list I believe. Need to check that.

The ini file is still LBasic450.ini

I don't know how to use Idecode function yet, and where to place it.

I don't get the error now, after a reinstall. I'm going to restart the system. (something wrong with my HDD?)
Now idecode$() works as expected. Print idecode$() gives me the code in the current IDE. Including itself.

From Microsoft's site:

ERROR_NO_MORE_FILES
18 (0x12)
There are no more files.

I wonder what that's about. Anyone else seen this error?

When did you begin seeing this error?

It is working fine now. I don't know what it was. When I removed the recent file list from the INI file, that fixed it. Then, if LB tries to read the files at startup, I think it was my Hard Disk. I did a reinstall, now LB works as expected.
I must say that I had a crash on my system and it turned off by itself a couple of times before installing this b3. Not LB related, just my mess on this PC.
I will keep looking anyway.
