Stefan,

Does that fix the icon editor? I wasn't even able to reproduce the error with the icon editor. Seems unlikely to me that beta 5 fixes it.

Looking through the Help File and noticed it is still referring to version 4.5.0.

On the left side (navigation pane), The title is "Liberty BASIC v4.5.0 Help. Then on the right side view pane, under the "What's New!" link, it states "What's new in version 4.5".

When I click on the "What's New!" link, the first topic is "New Features in Liberty BASIC 4.5.0. No new features for 4.5.1 are noted...

I'm sure once these betas are vetted and the final version is ready for release the documentation will be updated. I can appreciate the difficulty in keeping the documentation up to date. This is some of what I do for my "day job" and consistency is one of the things that stand out when I go through this kind of material. grin

I have been getting the error since beta 1, but now with beta 5 it is gone?
There have been some fixes for GDI and application compatibility contained in the latest Windows 10 updates, so might be even fixed through those.
I will keep an eye on this wink

I'm updating the help file and I expect to have a release candidate posted by this weekend.

Please post any possible showstoppers you may have.

Fine by now. But what's next? It is cool to be a beta tester.

Is the pie filled command fixable or not? If not that's fine. The rnd() statement has a slight bias and could be improved, if not that's fine to. Just checking what is in scope and what is not. Both issues have been discussed for a long time.

please clarify. Things that wrong in this version
or things that could be fixed in LB on the whole
(for example missing unary minus; TIMER SUB handler)?

In this context, a showstopper would be something that has become broken as a result of work done during this release cycle.

In other words, new work done wrong.

Hello Carl,

This is not a show stopper, but the link in the Help-file to
the StartupDir$ item is missing.

The file with the item in it is there, but only the link to it is missing.

I hope this is easy to correct.
