The idea has been mentioned that one can create a LB user group (especially if we live in the big city). Well, I think that is a great idea, but I'm not a very good programmar (IOW, I don't think I could ever make money off of it). I would like to be part of a group, though.

Has anyone started a user group?

There's about 5 million people where I live, so I guess I don't mind telling you where I live. Might even be in my profile for all I know. I live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. That's in Texas for all you Northerners. wink

Is there a DFWLB group? (We Americans love acronyms!)

Marculsee,
It's now two years and six months after you posted that question, and nobody responded. User groups today use the internet for all or nearly all of their activity, so actually, the Liberty BASIC user group is worldwide. This does not do very much for most ordinary social skills, but we really do have this user group.

If you really want, you must try to start a group LIVE, in person, where you are. Best in your case if you can gain at least some useful programming skill, and develope a couple of programs, and find one or two people who have much stronger skill in programming. Maybe one of them could take an interest in Liberty BASIC and help you to promote it locally where you are.
